In my opinion, NASA should always have at least two craft/systems capable of doing a certain job (Station support, orbital delivery work, etc.) Some of the concepts the private folks have come up with could be worth a look. And have some manager at NASA admit that he doesn't have the best minds working for him? just how would he think of keeping job security!!!! |
