Default NASA Awards Shuttle/Space Station Engineering Support Contract

In my opinion, NASA should always have at least two craft/systems
capable of doing a certain job (Station support, orbital delivery work,
etc.)

Some of the concepts the private folks have come up with could be worth
a look.

And have some manager at NASA admit that he doesn't have the best minds
working for him? just how would he think of keeping job security!!!!
