On Monday January 9 I observed the Moon for a few hours with the 8-inch
Klevtzov. One of my favorite regions, the Longomontanus-Clavius-Moretus
region, lay near the terminator, and I roamed through this wonderful area
for more than two hours. At the end of my observing session I shot a very
sharp image of the region, the best I ever managed. For an observing
