Given the frequency that they fly one would worked.

: No, I'll leave the oversimplifications to you. If subtlety is too much for

: It invariably is. Even blunt facts generally just bounce off.

Yes, when facts don't fit your agenda, then it's time to change the facts.

But while we had a cold war we still had Apollo-Soyuz. Go figure! I guess
even the best laid plans to keep the war going allowed us to move forward

: : would have been superfluous.
:
: Would it now? I kind of think his lack of mentioning space makes the
: speech six days earlier more the suspect.

: Yes, but then you kind of "think" (to be generous with the word) that
: everything he does is "suspect." No rational person would think so.

Rational people are going to vote his ass out of office this fall.

Such as?

Do you think

building codes are dumb?

Do you think the value of a code is determined by the number of rules?

Do you want to toss out the National Electric

Code and have any joker wire up his house the way he sees fit?

If that joker wants to live in that house, *why should his freedom to do so
be curtailed*?

A house not conforming to code can have effects on a neighbor. A badly
wired home is a fire hazard. Bad plumbing, a health hazard. I'd think
this was very obvious.

As opposed to continuing to rob the pockets of the taxpayers to spend still
more on Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.

Yes, Bush is doing that too.

I see you meant the German Rocket Club with members like Oberth and Von
Braun.

Could you imagine launching the equivalent of a V2 in modern America, by a
"club", after 9-11?!?

You'd have every agency police dept from the FBI to the local boy scouts
on your tail!!

My point exactly. I have no idea why Scott would argue otherwise.
