Anyone heard of RODS?

I have seen some footage of these things shaped like rods. They've
been photographed as a flash in the sky that lasts only a few seconds.
It is believed to be an extraterrestrial object, and I want to know
more about these "RODS". If anyone knows about them, please let me
know. I would appreciate any information. Thank you.

It's crap. Stop listening to Art bell as if it was truth.

In the photos I've seen, nothing stands out as unexplainable. I have not seen
any that could not be ordinary objects (birds, distant aircraft, thrown
objects, or insects too close to the camera and moving too quickly to be easily
identifable).

They are insects etc. that are blurred by the shutter speed of the
camera.
