What is different about the situation which results in M54 staying at the station instead of leaving just before M55 arrives which is the normal procedure ? Will they move M55 to the aft port after M54 leaves so that M55 can perform reboosts ? |

Will they move M55 to the aft port after M54 leaves so that M55 can perform reboosts ? I thought you were paying attention...see Jacque's post of SS05-057 on the 9th: "Station managers are evaluating a proposal from Russian engineers to delay the scheduled Dec. 20 Progress undocking. The proposal would leave the Progress attached to the station longer, allowing the crew additional time to use it for trash disposal and to use its oxygen supply. Regardless of whether the Progress is docked or undocked, launch and docking of the next Progress is Dec. 21 and Dec. 23. The new Progress will deliver food, water, fuel, air and holiday gifts for the crew. It will be the 20th Progress to go to the station." As to your second question, Idunno. /dps |
