Yes... it was good again. But I agee the atmosphere was not as good this
year.... something was lacking... there was not that normal buzz around the vendors stalls as normally found. "Andy" wrote in message ... Great event again, just one comment I have. When the raffle is done, it would be good to get someone up there that has a bit of character and enthusiasm to present it, a "Thankyou for turning up and supporting us" from the presenter would go a long way. It would also be good if we knew where our money goes for the tickets. Does it go to the society or somewhere else?? not all of us are privy to that so please let us know in the future. And it maybe a good idea to let people know when they buy them what the dry and wet weather alternatives for the draw are as no one seemed to know. Maybe it was the weather, but I didn't feel the atmosphere was as good this time round. But thanks for organising it all yet again and for all your hard work Just my thoughts Andy "Andrew Robertson" wrote in message ps.com... It's good to see some positive comments about the event. All I seem to pick up on is complaints about the weather which is largely a UK problem rather than the location. I agree it's exposed at Kelling, but in return you do get some extremely transparent and dark skies. Regards, Andy. |
