Nice triple prom coming around east limb - pic at http://home.freeuk.com/m.gavin/pstnew.htm with couple of proms on west limb.

Disk activity moderate with half dozen short filaments in western hemisphere [as future exit proms?] and a bright active area in the east with filaments nearby.

Hi there Nytecam,

I concur - plenty of activity of the Sun today with proms
all around and a full arch (?) visible at around 1500 BST.

Plenty of detail to see on the disc (granulation etc.) as well as a large
face-on ridge visible crossing the Sun visible in 0.4A H-alpha.
