Hi nightbat BH are not going to go away or give the right of way to your
"black comet" Told my wife about your idea we go on a world cruise
instead of a nursing home. She did not like the idea of being on a
rocking ship. She still remembers the true story about a guy in a wheel
chair that was thrown over board by Muslin terrorists. Wife can hardly
walk;.but still has the brain of a "Wellesely Girl" Bert

Understandably, she sounds like a great classic brave girl but
please inform her that the referenced incident happened before honorable
President Bush's Homeland Security was established and beefed up
security measures on all cruise sailing ships were put in place. Did you
tell her about the forming monsters heading your way, and of how will
you be able to save her in a wheel chair if the high expected heavy
rains and tidal breaking waters overrun the shore and cause major
flooding? No no for I worry so, please assure her the cruise ships have
many security guards now and are much more enjoyable the any possibly
overpopulated, overburdened, or expensive nursing home. Good luck
getting through this one and please give her my Captain regards.

Hi nightbat My wife says "Hi",and thinks you are very nice. We are
both sitting on the back porch reading these posts. Not worried at all
about hurricane Katrina. It will only bother people on the very south
east coast. Give me lots of rain, and I have to give the projected
forecast as I put my back to the wind. New Orleans look out in 4.5
days. Floods on the=A0way from14 inch rain storm Beert

I heard 1 million plus folks are now out of power in Florida and
the Governor has declared a State of emergency so I know you might not
be able to respond Officer Bert. When you can please tell your wife
thank you for her kind words but please also kindly remind her I am an
Earth Science Team Officer too. Just heard California had 500,000 folks
without power due to a black out. I haven't heard from Officer Bohne in
a while and it could be due to reported flooding occurring in some parts
of Switzerland. Hope you can hold up ok until Katrina blows over.

Hi nightbat I live 240 miles north of Miami. Florida is a
very long state. Things can get worse now that it is moving back north
again up the west coast. Right now hot and sunny in central Florida.
What is Bohne doing in Switzerland? Beert

Hi Double-A I did not know Bohne was Swiss. I would love for him to
look up a rather large family called "Dubendorfer" August (Gus)
Dubendorfer was a great chef in the Boston area. The Dubendorfer family
had their own Coat of Arms Gus use to seal his letters going back to
Switzerland with a green wax seal. If you are reading this Bohne it
might help looking them up that they lived in the Zurich area. One of
Gus brothers was a chemist. I'm going back many years knowing Gus
Dubendorfer. He proved to me that the Swiss are the most honest people
in the world and the very nicest. Bert
