I'd expect that from Bush, but not from NASA. -- Society for the Separation of Bush and State The shuttle has been obsolete for a long time, and that has nothing to do with the current President. If anything, his administration has shown a willingness to spend a huge amount of time and money trying to band aid the shuttle while finally giving the program a formal end date in the future. Now of course with foam still a big problem the Billion Dollar question is whether another round of patching up is justified or if it is time to finally acknowledge that the program is over. John |
