Hello Folks
We had a great time in March here at Trefach when we held our first star camp. We had clear - and very dark - skies, gave talks in the day and got together with astronomers from over the country over a pint and good food. We are situated at the foot of the Preseli mountains in Pembrokeshire Wales under some the darkest skies in the UK. In October 2005 starting on Friday the 28th we are hosting our second star camp. Steve Taylor will be talking about the Todmorden observatory and Peter Wise will talk about his novel catadiopric Newtonian telescopes. You can visit our website for information and brochures. http://astronomy.crysania.co.uk Andrew Sprott |
