Time to rebuild a pad for The Stick and SDV cargo carrier?:

The article mentions that Pad 39A might be
shut down to allow rebuilding for CEV launches.
That's funny, because Pad 39A is shut down
right now for reconstruction to support space
shuttle launches! They have the thing partially
dismantled, with cranes hovering over it, right
now. So, will NASA stop this Pad A project in
its tracks ASAP, or will NASA allow the contractors
to finish this work and *then* mothball the newly
rebuilt pad to allow it to be rebuilt immediately
again?

Before you answer, remember that this is the
government we're talking about!
