Put me down for the sun and moon.

Unless the sun is assumed, whatever.

But I wanted to put up the notion that the moon isn't just responsible
for tides, but is supposed to have helped keep the Earth's atmosphere
from being thick enough to be another Venus, and presumably hostile to
the kind of life we are.

(otoh, nowadays we think life may first have evolved in aerobic
environments at the bottom of the seas, so, um, whatever)

im guessing jupiter & the sun - is that right?

thanx

I'm going for the Earth and the Sun.

Unless we can assume both, in which case it's Luna and Jupiter.

Is there a prize? Did I win? :-)

the correct answers we

the moon & jupiter

the moon due to creating tidal pools

& jupiter due to blocking impacts from comets & asteroids

the sun was NOT an answer due to the wording of the question (ie.
'probaly')

cheers!!
