OU course:S381, The Energetic Universe

Hi guys,

Anyone here done the Open University course S381:The energetic Universe? I'm
about to start at the beginning of February. Just want some feedback from
those who have done it.

I take it you've done Astronomy S282, Ive got that coming up in Feb,
any thoughts?

John, this time of year the conferences are wiped clean and all the
people who are posting are usually new starters (and a few people who
failed last year), it's not a great source of info.

It still shows on my desktop right back to 2003, and I know that there
are still one or two students of the 2003 course still lurking in the
s381 conference. But there is also the OUSA Physical Science Student
Chat conference, you will find a large number of past students there.

With out wishing to offend any contributors to this newsgroup, there are
likely to be more ex s381 students in OU conferences then in here.

As for my views, it was a very good course. There is quite a bit of math
in the third block, but it's not difficult.
