I like Philippe Henarejos' "Guide to the night Sky". K=F6nemann.
*
A pocket book with a plastic cover. It has a modern feel and is very
comprehensive.
*
Each constellation has an object list and gives the necessary
observation details: Messier or NGC No. galaxy, cluster, nebula, etc.
magnitude, distance, naked eye, binoculars or telescope etc.
*
More general chapters on solar system, navigation aids in the night sky
by star pointers etc.
*
Excellent value too. I think I paid about =A37. Possibly a remainder?
