Default Scope Calculator updated

Folks,

I've updated Scope Calculator 2 to fix a couple of minor bugs. Feel
free to stop by and download a copy; it's freeware and available in
both Mac and Windows versions.

http://homepage.mac.com/nmonks/astronomy/astronomy.html

Scope Calc is an application for quickly calculating magnification,
field of view, and exit pupil for up to 7 eyepieces at once. You can
instantly toggle between regular values and those when used with a
Barlow and reducer-corrector as well. It also colours the results of to
indicate whether or not they "make sense" with a telescope of given
aperture size.

Cheers,

Neale

PS. You can see Windows (first link) and Mac OS X (second link)

Neale,
Just curious - why don't you compile a version for Linux? It should not
be a problem since you use Runtime Revolution? I think this will
broaden choice a little bit and will be appreciated by many people.
Of course with the help of "wine" windows binary runs just fine, but it
is not obvious for some people running Linux to use it this way.
Besides, native version should get some native look, too :-)
Thanks,
Delyan

Delyan,

The only reason is this: I don't have a computer running Linux, so it
isn't easy for me to test the Linux version out. But as I have a Mac
and a PC, it's easy to test versions for those platforms. But I have
nothing against Linux, and indeed, while researching for a book on this
general topic was amazed at how vigorous the Linux side of amateur
astronomy is.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I quickly made a version for Linux
and posted it he

But as I cannot test it, perhaps you would like to let me know whether
or not this works?

Cheers,

Neale
