Does anyone else get this [the S&T] calendar year after year? It's a great resource, particularly for planetary observing planning and major meteor showers. A similar graphical layout is used in the annual RASC Observer's Handbook (2005) for sunset/sunset by latitude. The RASC diagram is horizontal and runs left to right - which, for me, is easier to follow than the S&T up and down layout. I like to mount by S&T calendar horizontally, which again in IMHO, is easier to follow, other than the S&T calendar then runs right to left. - Canopus56 P.S. - The AAVSO Julian Day Calendar for 2005 is also now out. http://www.aavso.org/observing/aids/jdcalendar.shtml |
