Non-SCT diagonal means, used for refractors and needs an adaptor for able
mount on a SCT OTA. Using the FR f/6.3 plus the adaptor and the diagonal, it sticks farther out, than straite SCT-diagonal, so the primery has to move more forward to come to focus. Looks like I'm getting vigneting, using the FR , adaptor ring and the AP refractor diagonal with the Pentax 40mm eyepiece. If its a f/3.3 then its not meant for viewing but for imaging. If its f/6.3 then I don't know. In my case, the f/6.3 works fine with a star diagonal, either the Meade or Tele View typrs. I'm not sure what is a 2" non-SCT diagonal. |
