You can still treat it as a radio program. I thought he looked at times
suspiciously like the talking head computer in Red Dwarf YMMV.

Personally I thought it was far too 'posey'; Martin Rees doing a Saruman
impersonation, leaning forward - just so, and pausing before each word.

The luvvies insist on doing something to make it "interesting" they fear
that otherwise remote control buttons get pressed and ad revenue falls.

I much preferred the simple language and relevant visuals that came with
the Light Fantastic series that ended tonight. Good solid scientific
history too.


I gave up on that - the previous week's was so manifestly wrong that it
became annoying. Where do they get these historians that strut around
like peacocks trained at the ministry for silly walks?
