Why does the sun as appears on Mars looks as if it shines through frosted
glass? Also, can the Mars orbiters camera resolve the bounce prints in the surface for analysis? -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |

How can you distinguish between a bounce print and other features ie a

The bounce may have disturbed the surface causing it to change colour, surface rocks will likely be pushed into the surface, there may also be a slight depression. The bounce footprint is going to only be a few pixels even at best resolution so distinguishing these features is going to be difficult, but I think just about possible. -- Mike Atkinson (to reply remove NO SPAM) |
