Default What is Meade sending me??

I purchased an LXD75-SN8 last week from my local store, sent the warranty
card off either friday or saturday. Got home today & there's a UPS notice
from Meade. Any ideas? I don't think they could possibly have my warranty
card yet, let alone have time to process it & send me sumthin. I purchased
an ETX90 last february, could it be sumthin for that? Strange.

Were they having an eyepiece promotion?
Maybe a replacement hand controller?
No, that would be too convenient. ;-)

A dew shield or a power supply would be a nice xmas present. This has me
baffled.

Was "baffled" a joke? It made me smile anyway. I should get out
more...

Anyway, sent on Friday/Saturday means they should have received it on
Monday. Replying the same day and overnight delivery isn't *that*
unusual in the US, is it? I know the US is three times as wide as the
UK is long, but you use aeroplanes and we just have horses and carts
and keep stopping for tea all the time

So it's Tuesday already. What did they send?

Inquiring minds want to know!

No, I feel stupid. I forgot that I called Meade after I got my scope &
discovered that one of the screws holding the finderscope in the mount was
broken. They sent the replacement UPS. Hell, I would've just put in in a
padded envelope & dropped it in the mail. That's all it was. Sorry.

At least you didn't have to send the whole thing back to Meade for repair.
