Well... Canadians *have* been in space before. (Marc Garneau,
Roberta Bondar, etc...) It's just that they haven't been up *lately*,

PS. If you know anything about how the Canadian government can screw things
up, you would realize that is a joke. Just the money Toronto City Hall
wasted on computers that don't work well ($58.7 million overpayment on top of
the $40 million contract) that would pay for a lean mean, research program..
Don't even ask about the national governent.

I'm inclined to agree, but putting a human into space (i.e. SS1) is
different that putting them into orbit.
