minimum cost of entering orbit. The supposed airline metric of 3
times fuel cost was mentioned. If the answer to #2 above is $69,000
or less than we've broken that barrier for sub-orbital flight at least
(assuming a Virgin ticket price of $208,000).
I've heard US$100k mentioned.
Which is 25% of what flying two passengers in SS1 would bring at that
price. If SS1 were to be used to paying pasengers prior to the 5
passenger version. And if they didn't charge more for the very early
tickets.
