When I first saw those shots, I thought I wonder what scope you were using,
surely it most be pretty big. I was surprise that a LXD55 could capture such
magnified images....wow!!

And yes, since I'm planning on upgrading to an 8in, the LXD55 is at the top
of my list!! )

i'm sorry, but the images with astrosolar was captured with celestron c9
1/4...
