"Abdul Ahad" wrote in message om... Does this picture not look like silvery coloured metal exposed by Spirit using its rock abrasion tool... or am I seing things? http://photojournal.jpl.nasa.gov/jpe...074_modest.jpg Any views? Abdul Ahad To me, it looks like an intrinsically grey rock covered by red martian dust. How come there's no 'metallic' glint exposed in any images? The Martian crust must have some ores of at least common metals like iron, nickel, tin and lead. Nothing showing in any pictures, and here's me still dreaming of the substantial gold and silver deposits awaiting discovery... somewhere. |
