I have a question for some clever egg who could answer a question. I am
running the SETI program which is looking at something at 38Hr 56' 6" RA +17 deg 37' 12" Dec. I have a astronomical program Redshift 5 and was trying to see exactly what is at these coordinates, but it seems to have a problem with 38 Hrs, with only 24 in a day and was wondering why this is used and how could I search to see what is there (if anything). Is this a case of 38-24=14Hrs RA? Yes, I'm a newbie, so be gentle. Graham |

SETI@Home seems to have a problem with this :-) If you want a program that is specifically designed to show SETI@Home positions and can cope with this problem, look up the SETI@Home edition of Distant Suns http://www.distantsuns.com/ - it's free! -- What have they got to hide?
