Default Mounts and polar aligning

I have a EQ5 but many here have different varieties and quality
mounts. My question is, are the latest GOTO type mounts and
Losmandies etc. all automatic when it comes to aligning with the NCP?

How manual are these newer more expensive mounts in polar aligning?
Do they all use a polar aligning scope? I jow the Vixen GP has a
factory set polar scope for instance.

Default

My GP/SS2K combo only needs a rough polar alignment or just point it toward
north, three star alignment is a must, computer takes care of any errors in
the miss alignment.
Of course, only for visual use, for photography, it still needs a very
accurate polar alignment.
Can't speak for other mounts.
