Default The January Issue of Que tal in the Current Skies is Now Available

27 December 2003
++++++++++++++++

--The January 2004 issue is now online

This month read about:
--Earth at Perihelion and the Reasons for Seasons
--Eccentric Orbits
--Binocular Viewing: The Orion Nebula

....- .--. -.. - - . -... ..- .-.. .-.. . - .. -.
--The Mars Express has completed its orbital insertion burn and apppears to
be
where mission control wants it.

The expected signal from the lander Beagle 2 has not been picked up yet,
however there will be other attempts to receive the signal over the next few
days.

The ESA has archived the live broadcasts from mission control and some other
interesting broadcasts at the following URL:

http://esa.capcave.com/esa/marsexpress/

Beagle 2 web site: http://www.beagle2.com/

Have a safe and enjoyable holiday season.

As always-

Clear Skies...
