Default Hawking's theories on the Big Bang

Is ther sun a black hole?

The theory about a Big bang implosion at the end of the expansion of
the universe .... Is that still a considered possibility? On my
personal observance of an albeit simple "everything that processes
poops" type of theory, a constant consumption and expansion (in my
opnion) would be more apt to be. If there is a more massive source of
gravity in the universe that would slow or stop the expansion then it
seems everything would slow and finally recede (and does so on a small
scale). But upon my observances I tend to believe that the universe is
more like a match at striking. Sparks fly outward and the flame grows
and expands as long as the fuel for the flame exists.
