I wasn't
realy out there to view anything, but I did look up and I did count

about
8
metors in the 40 mins I was out there, all coming from the same

area, so
just maybe I was catching the front edge of the shower?

Hi Dennis,

A couple of friends and myself were observing from Mt. Pilchuck last

night
until a little after midnight and saw several nice meteors in a couple

of
hours. I wasn't looking in the right place at the right time, but

they saw
a really nice one. . .said it left a trail and was quite bright. They
screamed, yelled, jumped up and down, and generally went wacko for a

while
but, then again, a great meteor can do that to a person !!!!

I'm sure there's some kind of great cosmic law that all bright meteors
happen behind us, so everyone but us sees them. g
