I used to buy Timex Ironman Triathalon watches. I refuse however to
buy any more el cheapo watches for one reason; They come with plastic
front windows. They scratch and look awful. Who needs that?

A watch repairer can usually fit a replacement "glass" to a watch in
seconds for a small sum. Perhaps Timex Ironman Triathlon watches are
unique in this respect and do not have replacement glasses available?
Despite the supposed hard life one might expect for such a device? Not
impossible of course.

Or was this a wind up? ;-)
