Default magnetic field and Titan

Although no Titan magnetic field was detected in previous fly-bys, the JPL

You could have just said that the first time. Again, who is "we"?

It's all of us (or at least those of us who want to know) --
including you. Yep, you don't know either whether Titan has a
magnetic field or not, but you might learn within the next four years
if you follow what the Cassini project finds out.

As opposed to "they". You speak as if you are one of the Cassini scientists.

The Cassini scientists won't keep their findings secret -- therefore
you need not be in the team to find out. All that's required is to
be interested and to follow what's announced. If you're really
interested you can also later read the full papers as they are
published in the scientific journals (which should be available at
any good university library - a number of them can even be found on
the Net). If you do some of this, you too will be part to "we" and
need not alienate yourself by talking about "they"....

Also, remember that Cassini isn't only a NASA/JPL project, it's an
international cooperation between NASA and ESA (European Space Agency).
And even my little country (Sweden) contributed with an instrument which
now is onboard Cassini. Therefore there are "Cassini scientists" in a
number of countries of the world.
