Aloha!

A few more practice shots before the main event... no time to putz
around with full processing (yard-work and work-work beckons!), but
here's a cropped section from the full disk image (single exposure
taken through an AP Traveler, Coronado Solarmax90 w/BF30, 4X TeleVue
Powermate, SBIG STL11K, 1500 pixel swatch cut from the 2600 pixel
diameter full-disk):

(previous session: http://www.astro-nut.com/sun-ar618-04may27.jpg )

Need mo' time and much mo' clear sky! The reading of the chicken
entrails and tea leaves indicate good weather on Tuesday... if it
isn't rainy, foggy, or cloudy! )

Cheers,

Paul

Here's wishing you mo' better blues...as in blue skies for that particular
day in question. g

Your stuff? Just keeps getting more impressive every time I look. You *are*
a most valuable resource(or player, which ever you prefer)
for this great hobby of ours.

Best regards,
Bill

I was pondering your picture further and it is clear that the fires that
feed the earth are well captured.
That being said I am still wondering what an achromat would produce under
the same conditions.
I would like to see a back to back image.
