I agree with all the above, and I LOVE them. I carefully compared the
15x50 IS's with a friend's 15x70s, and I concluded it was true, as the S&T article revealed, that the stabilization feature allowed a greater integration time on the retina. They equalled the 70s--hand held--on faint objects. And Albireo was resolved hand held as well. Keepers. Did I say I LOVED them? The only down side was when turned off, the active-wedges flop into an off state that can show signifcant "color wedge". |
