Hi,
Has anyone tested these new Dobsonians yet? How is the altitude bearings? It seems to me that you need to adjust the friction for the bearings by turning a knob. How good or bad does this work? Any other thoughts? Sincerely, Roger Persson |

Hi Roger,
I don't think the new SkyQuests are available yet. You might want to look at the Yahoo group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/skyque...guid=132641296 that is specifically for SkyQuest users. It's a very popular group and worth a visit. Clear skies, Steve "Roger Persson" wrote in message om... Hi, Has anyone tested these new Dobsonians yet? How is the altitude bearings? Clear skies, Steve Hi Steve, I think they are available. At least I saw some in the Orion store in Cupertino, and that was quite a long time ago. I cannot comment on the quality / ease of use, though. - Alex "Roger Persson" wrote in message om... Hi, Has anyone tested these new Dobsonians yet? How is the altitude bearings?
