Default New design X-Ray telescope Nustar sent aloft

From Spaceflight Now:

"Air-launched Pegasus boosts NASA telescope to space"
BY WILLIAM HARWOOD
STORY WRITTEN FOR CBS NEWS "SPACE PLACE" & USED WITH PERMISSION
Posted: June 13, 2012

The article discusses the innovative design that makes it much smaller
than Chandra and still have better imaging capabilities. Accompanying
photograph gallery let you see aboard the carrier aircraft.

(How many L-1101 planes are still flying? This one just got an
overhaul, with new fuel-efficient engines. It's been on the Pegasus
job 18 years now.)
