In real life there are actually three possibilities: 1) Bob returns younger than Dave. 2) Bob returns older than Dave. 3) Bob returns with same age as Dave. If either 1) or 2) is true, then the absolute frame of reference must exist. In doing so, the principle of relativity is not valid in general, and SR must be wrong. If 3) is true, then perhaps the principle of relativity will hold. shrug In the ****ed logic of SR, there is only one predicted, illogical outcome. 4) Bob returns younger and old than Dave. The idiots who worship SR then spin a ludicrous conclusion in 1) in which it has nothing to do with SR. These idiots never have understood SR. shrug The following sums them up on how they have practiced physics in the past 100 years. ** FAITH IS THEORY ** LYING IS TEACHING ** NITWIT IS GENIUS ** OCCULT IS SCIENCE ** PARADOX IS KOSHER ** FUDGING IS DERIVATION ** BULL**** IS TRUTH ** BELIEVING IS LEARNING ** MYSTICISM IS WISDOM ** IGNORANCE IS KNOWLEDGE ** CONJECTURE IS REALITY ** PLAGIARISM IS CREATIVITY ** MATHEMAGICS IS MATHEMATICS shrug |

this is an incredibly simple problem,
as you know, involving only teh relative motion WRT the speed of lightwaves (not the velocity of Newton's untheory of photons). that is to say, you are beating a horse that now likes it; neigh? there are no photons, perhaps "because" their is no absolute vacuum of Pascal and teh Copenhagenskooler mystics of Schroedinger's silly, put-upon & very wry cat. |

The reason is that your qualifier is entirely unphysical. Durations of accelerations are not counted. You have to count accelerations. The two can not get together again unless at least one of them accelerates. Dismissing the acceleration makes the problem entirely unphysical. I think you have crossed over from ignorance into dishonesty. |
