In article , -pc- dot.org says... As today is the season premiere for Star Trek: Enterprise, and I'll confess I am a trekkie, the theme song and opening credits keep coming to mind: "It's been a long road, getting from there to here ..." Totally off your topic, I was aghast to turn on the Enterprise season premiere and find that the music track behind the vocal on the opening theme has been changed, from a rock/folk ballad style to a country & western style. Twangy honky-tonk guitars and all. ....What sucks is that the pre-first season promos had a song that would have worked perfectly - The Crossing's "Wherever You Will Go". In fact, it was the front runner before Berman started masturbating to his Rod Stuart collection and found Diane Warren's dreadful dirge. When it was passed over, the producers of "Smallville" grabbed up the song and quickly dubbed it into one of the early episodes as almost a stab at Berman's stupidity. Makes me want to puke, personally. ....And the bad part about this is that the more people bitch, the more Berman will remain steadfast about keeping the damned song. He's actually berated fans who've complained about the song at cons, and told them to either grin and bear it, or turn the volume down because the song will remain as long as he's running the show. With a dickwad attitude like that, I hope he gets raped *and* eaten by a gigantic carnivorous tribble... OM -- "No ******* ever won a war by dying for | http://www.io.com/~o_m his country.
