details from memory, but it was sickening. She didn't have a "handicap" per se,
but she sure acted like it and people treated her like she had one. It was
awful. I didn't watch DS9 after that. I tried to get into Enterprise. I even
thought it was pretty good the first season. For some reason I didn't watch
season 2+.


If you want to replace that memory with something rather better on the same
subject you could do worse than "Beautiful Life" which is a Japanese drama
series that is much less sentimental than you might guess from the title.

For those in the know, and with broadband, an English fansubbed version is
available.
