Default Up, Up, and Away!

Very pretty launch ... from darkness to daylight, and the ET cam
stayed on a good while after separation.

I liked seeing the glow at the wingtips at sep.

I noticed that the voice of Mission Control handed over about the time
the tower was cleared ... is that another Florida-Houston division of
labor?

Bon voyage, kids! Have a kick-ass mission!

Yes, traditionally Mission Control has taken over from Launch Control once
the vehicle has cleared the tower.

I was well aware of the flight consoles transferring, but had not
previously paid attention to the PAO transfer.
