Default NASA surely covered up Martian cells

Has it occurred to you that NASA has spent many years, and billions of

they be trying to cover up such a discovery? Especially if it were
nearby enough that we could potentially send someone there physically
to check it out.

It was possible that NASA did not know they were muscle cells,
although NASA surely did see them before painting them over (covering
them up to avoid controversy). I have asked many professors of anatomy
about the AFM Mars images. Few of them ever saw cells in AFM images.
NASA AFM images sometimes show severely distorted/broken cells/
tissues. Anatomy professors are no archaeolgists. They are not used to
this kind of "ugly" images. They have to think about their reputation
on such important finds.
