Not content with identity theft or being moderated into sullen silence
by VSNET-alert John Greaves now chooses to further demonstrate his problems. (As a point of interest only just recently Greaves was whining about how many groups have banned him!) 1) The most brief of searches would prove the existence of the Daventry Observatory. www.britastro.org/jbaa/pdf/113-4dss.pdf 2) Submitting comet positions to MPC followed by publication by them IS peer reviewed publication - Greaves might claim something different but the facts are not in dispute. Of course all these "mistake" are typical of Greaves and his synthetic anger. In February 2008 Greaves posted the following to the AAVSO-DIS list. The Perils of Periodicity Papers http://mira.aavso.org/pipermail/a......ry/014006.html This is his subsequent apology and retraction. "Iterate:- there's no objectively based reason why ejaavso 72 should need to be pulled or apologised for. Aspects about the nature of RU Vul from my first email on the topic were incorrect. The remaining differences are insufficient to require any retraction in any form from the authors with respect to their paper." Read more at http://mira.aavso.org/pipermail/a......ry/014023.html |
