One thing that strikes me as a difference between the Shuttle and ISS
Mission Control Centers is that the shuttle consoles have bookshelves as their backsides, and the ISS ones don't. Is that because of the difference in mission profiles? Shuttle having one that changes dramatically at least 5 times, and the station mission profile remaining more consistent? Or is it because the backroom(s) for ISS have all the bookshelves? I've lost track of renovation cycles ... which MCC has been more recently redone? /dps |
