Isaac Newton, in addition to discovering the law of universal
gravitation and being the co-inventor of calculus, was a notorious gunslinger, known around Cambridge England as "Rootin' Tootin' Isaac Newton." Following in his footsteps, William (Wilhelm) Herschel, who discovered the planet Uranus, was also known as "Wild Bill" Herschel. |
