I could get a 1.25 or 2" adapter? No, because there is no such thing. What you *can* get, however, is an adapter from the telescope focuser to a t thread, then a t thread adapter to fit your camera. Both are standard items, well documented in all the usual references. Laura Halliday VE7LDH "Que les nuages soient notre Grid: CN89mg pied a terre..." ICBM: 49 16.05 N 122 56.92 W - Hospital/Shafte |

I like TA2P a lot. Not too long, not too short, and a Televue style notch. Free shipping. The TA2P is from Antares. Check out http://www.buytelescopes.com/product...ort=prlh&go=Go for the T-ring. The Meade T-rings are a bit better than some of the really cheap t-ring out there. You really should explain what you are trying to do. For instance, you will probably need a focuser tube extender to get to prime focus. I'm not familiar with the D100, but most digital cameras have small CCDs, so you may get away with a cheap T extension. That would be TATE on the scopestuff.com webpage. If you ever want to shoot 35mm in addition to digital, you are better off getting a proper extension for your telescope. An alternative would be to go with M57 tubes, an adapter to mate the threads of your scope, then a wide T-ring. Rings: http://www.sciencecenter.net/hutech/.../html/5003.htm Convert to M57 http://www.sciencecenter.net/hutech/.../html/7000.htm tubes: http://www.sciencecenter.net/hutech/.../html/7604.htm M57 to 2 inch male (which fits your 2 inch visual back on the scope): http://www.sciencecenter.net/hutech/.../html/7502.htm Something like the Tak angle adjuster: http://www.sciencecenter.net/hutech/.../html/7351.htm |
