I'm heading out to Jacksonville FL this Sunday for 2 weeks. I want to run
down the coast to KSC for the weekend in the middle.

Keeping in mind a somewhat limited budget, I'm hoping you folks can steer
me to the best things to see while I'm there. Definitely want to see the
mighty mighty Saturn--but what else is there?

There is the Deland City Dump and Landfill.

It's always been a winner for me.

The Apollo/Saturn building is a must, so you have to take the KSC tour
by bus. You used to be able to go all the way out to Pad 39-A. Not
anymore. You go as far as the last viewing tower where they have a
gift shop and a shuttle engine to look at and about three tiers for
viewing a launch. See Rocket Garden, the Astronaut Memorial and the
mock up of shuttle Enterprise. That's about it. Sit next to the bus
driver on the tour so you can ask questions. Those folks tend to know
a lot and will share as long as you ask good questions.

Eric
