AUSTRALIA'S SOUTHWEST GETTING HOTTER AND DRIER - STUDY
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mail this story to a friend AUSTRALIA: April 3, 2007 SYDNEY - Western Australia's southwest, an important agricultural region that also contains one of Australia's largest cities, would continue to get hotter and drier because of climate change, a government-backed study said. Rainfall was declining, while projections of further declines in rainfall were greater than first expected, Chris Mitchell of the government-backed Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) told Reuters on Monday. The region contains Perth, Australia's western capital and fourth biggest city with 1.5 million people, and also grows two of the country's most important crops, wheat and grapes. The study forecast that rainfall in the area may fall by up to 20 percent by 2030 compared with levels between 1960 and 1990. The number of winter rain days was forecast to decrease by up to 17 percent, with the water run-off into catchments falling by between 5 and 40 percent, it said. The changes might further increase by about 2085, with rainfall declining by between 5 and 34 percent and the number of winter rain days decreasing by up to 30 percent, it said. Observed temperature increases and winter rainfall decline in the region were unlikely to be due to natural climate variability alone, the study said. "Our results show that that by 2030 there would be a rise in temperatures in all seasons and a decrease in winter rainfall," CSIRO scientist Bryson Bates said. "It's unlikely the observed warming is a result of natural climate variability alone," added Pandora Hope of the Bureau of Meteorology research centre. Research would be stepped up into the causes and magnituide of climate change in Western Australia, Bates said. The study was conducted by the Indian Ocean Climate Initiative, a partnership of the state government of Western Australia, the commonwealth government-backed CSIRO, and the national weather bureau. REUTERS NEWS SERVICE Although the Dudes are going to make their research, certainly they will refuse to pin it down to the real cause of their problem... head long pursuit to avoid the evidence indeed ... that evidence is the 6 m sea rise before 2012, flooding completely the Perth Yachting Club where such Political Criminals as former Premier Richard Court spent their bribery money, as well as all Fremantle facilities including former corrupt Premier Lawrence's personal mansion ( acquired as well through bribery money from the Newmont / Newcrest & BHP Mining Criminals ) You thought you would get away from your Crimes, Australian Toads & Antipodean Rabble indeed ? Hey ? The knot of the Divine Drudging Drought ( DDD ) is tightening more around your ****en neck, don't worry ... and will never loosen until proper atonement for all your collective Crimes has been reached ! BY ORDER : Permanent Summer from now on upon the Land Of *******s with topping temperature on my birthday 15th of April next of 40°C all throughout the LOB .... and this is my personal gift to you all .... a degenerate Humanity only able to grab & run away without a thanks Jean-Paul Turcaud Exploration Geologist & Offshore Consultant Mobile +33 650 171 464 Founder of the True Geology ~ Ignorance is the Cosmic Sin, the One never Forgiven ~ for background info. http://www.tnet.com.au/~warrigal/grule.html http://users.indigo.net.au/don/tel/index.html http://members.iimetro.com.au/~hubbca/turcaud.htm http://www.abc.net.au/rn/talks/bbing/stories/s28534.htm |

AUSTRALIA'S SOUTHWEST GETTING HOTTER AND DRIER - STUDY Hi Turdicles! You are so full of ****. Here is the latest national rainfall outlook. I think pulled your data out of your arse hole. http://www.bom.gov.au/announcements/...0070326R.shtml The national outlook for total June quarter (April to June) rainfall, shows a moderate swing in the odds towards above-normal rainfall in southeast Queensland and northeast New South Wales. However, over most of the country the chances of accumulating at least average rain for the coming three months are close to 50%. Eduard |

Napoleon,
Australia is the land of energy inventions, a country unlike Bush who are open and not brainwashed. 150000 liters of water fall on the average rooftop in a year in most large Australian cities. Australia sits on very hot rocks that are close to the surface, a natural gift no other countries have for making energy. Solar energy is marvelous. Australia invented reversed air conditioning for heating and get 3- times cheaper heating than electric heating, and they don't even close-cycle the heat of the house to improve on that 3-times cheaper heating. Tides make it possible to built turbines under water. A 10 megawatt powerplant brings the builder US$300000 a month. 10 megawatts is the energy of 134 100-horsepower engines (think cars) and can supply energy to 10 thousand homes. 134 is a magic number. 100000 watts is also 134 horsepowers. One horsepower is 746 watts. Governments build single giant electric generators, people build generators from many small components built from free recycled materials like ceiling fan engines. You think Australia is dry. Colorado has three times less rain than any big city in Australia. But move to New Mexico, then to Arizona, and finally Nevada, then settle in the Death Desert in Eastern California where the temperature is one of the highest in the world and gas stations are 300 kilometers apart, don't want to accidentally run out of gas. And then exiting the Death Desert and 200 kilometers further is Los Angeles and Hollywood, and skiing in the mountains and windsurfing and all the smoking bans on public beaches with citizens walking tightly like world leaders, and abiding to zee no jumping in zee ocean water as it is a sign for attempted suicide and arrested by law to prevent harm to others and provoking others to endanger lives. They have a brain in California. (don't think I am joking) |

No one here is allowed talk about those hot rocks because the Howard GovCo has decided we will be getting all of our energy from nice sparkly clean (carbon sequestered) coal in the future. Australia invented reversed air conditioning for heating and get 3- times cheaper heating than electric heating, and they don't even close-cycle the heat of the house to improve on that 3-times cheaper heating. These days we even teach French companies how to make wines. Turdy is just a wee bit vocal about his very special love for Australia. His barking mad posts make essential breakfast reading for his legion fans in Australia (and indeed throughout the world). He has quite a fan club here, he was even mentioned on a radio program recently. |

They have a brain in California. (don't think I am joking) Australia is a Land of *******s ! ... full stop ! Don't waste my time reading your praise of such debased & no hope country ... at the present time they are approaching the 300 Australian Farmers murder mark since beginning of 2 006 , which clearly means that right now ONE AUSTRALIAN FARMER TAKES HIS LIFE EVERY DAY AS A RESULT OF THE DIVINE DRUDGING DROUGHT ! Just notice how Großturd is hoping his betting on rainfall to be on target ... as well as the other slimy Antipodean Toads by the way ... the dudes are even making projection for June which is 2 month away indeed ... what an abject convict rabble indeed ! The reality is despair & death in the Land of *******s where life has no meaning at all, thieving & robbing are indeed the two master words those beasts of prey have illuminating their dull & despaired existence, hence the only outlet that australian criminal manure has to resort to gambling to try to make sense of its existence ! Gambling on anything at all to try to pull out of their moral, intellectual & spiritual misery ...and build some hopeless prevention against the vicissitudes of life ! Do you know that in australia thousand & thousand of people live out in the streets, barely surviving by foraging in the bins ... do you know that the rate of suicide in that Hell on Earth is the highest in the world ... not only in Farmers but as well in that whole population at large ... Do you know finally that in 37 years soon, that vile degenerated australian population has not even been able to say a single thanks to the man who put 3 mines on the map of that shameful piece of dirt & **** disfiguring the whole planet indeed ! YES ! ( by the way I cannot look at any map of that planet without averting my eyes in disgust as soon as the LOB appears in my field of vision. On the positive side the upraise of Sea water by 6m before 2012 is going to reclaim over 100 km in some places, from the which the Toads will have indeed to move their dirty arses ! Some major & dirty cities will be cleared of that filth further by the mighty waves of the Ocean recovering indeed what is theirs since the dawn of time ! I look forward to it and I should say with the same burning anticipation than towards the mighty 9.2 Great Sydney Quake coming soon I will celebrate both events with opening of my best Château Turcaud white, and I have still 3 bottles of 1972 in the cellar reserved for very special events Jean-Paul Turcaud |
