This graphic was used by Chinese state TV to illustrate Shenzhou 6
during its flight. Whatever this is, it ain't a Shenzhou: http://www.astronautix.com/graphics/z/zsz6wd1.jpg Apparently LockMart isn't the only one playing around with the Apollo capsule design. Looks like the Apollo/Soyuz mission rolled up into one spacecraft, right down to the fold-out EVA light on the SM. :-) Pat |

They may also have mistaken the launch escape petals for folded solary arrays. Similar to the early Vostok days, when the Soviets wouldn't reveal the true shape of Vostok and only released pictures of Vostok with the boost cover in place. Although, the boost cover has Apollo features (windows etc). Rusty |

Although, the boost cover has Apollo features (windows etc). And even EVA handles. The instrument box on the docking collar is odd. I think someone was imagineering this; either that or we're getting a look at a design for a two-stage circumlunar ship using components docked in orbit that are similar to Apollo SMs. Pat |
