Default Spacecraft films DVD - need apollo recomendation

I have the Spacecraft films DVDs: Gemini, Saturn I/Ib, Apollo 8, and
Apollo 11. I'm planning to get Mercury, Liftoff, and Saturn V. I
also want to get one of the long Apollo missions, and that will be
about all I can afford to spend on these. I didn't even get to see
all of the TV of the later missions.

So I'm asking for a recommendation of which one is the best to get:
Apollo 15, 16, or 17.

NetFlix rents all of the Spacecraft Films titles.

Go to the NetFlix website, select Browse Selection tab, and search for
"Spacecraft Films"

Good place to preview them, etc.

Good idea, maybe I should do that. I'm not sure how many times I want
to watch the cockpit film of GT-2. Anyone watched that more than
once?

....Be advised that most of them, the last I looked, were on extremely
long waiting lists. This without Nef****'s latest trick of throttling
shipments to high-turnover renters so that they get nowhere near what
an unlimited rental account should theoretically get, much less
practically. Which is why I really, seriously hope the states'
collective AG's offices finally get around to suing the *******s and
forcing them to stop this practice. Unlimited means no limits, period.

Renting from NetFlicks is a cool way to preview. Rusty got that right. But
I once thought just like you: I can only afford a couple. 3 years and
hundreds of dollars later, I have almost every one of them... I've
purchased a couple of them from Amazon.com used and got good deals on them.
Depending on how nicked the box is, I've gotten up to 50% off on them. You
just have to check regularly until one shows up.

Recommendations? I like them all. A15 has the only complete view of the
rover being unpacked and set up, plus the great view of Hadley Rille. A16
has John Young pulling a bad "oops" deploying the ALSEP. A17 has the most
material, the best view of the LM taking off, and the "little green men
scare" near the end of EVA when Mission Control mistook a pennant 10 meters
away for an "object" on a far away hillside!

Greencine (www.greencine.com) has Apollo 8 and Apollo 15, with very little
wait time. (They are based in California, so depending on where you are the
turn-around time can be up to a week, but they have a lot of stuff that
Netflix doesn't, including lots of TV series.)

I've found several of these in new condition available at somewhat of
a discount, so I'm going to order some of them tomorrow. They are
outrageously expensive for what you get, though.

Of A16, A17, and A18, which has the most good 16mm footage?

A16 has very good 16mm footage, for example from the rover traverses.
A17 didnt have a 16mm at all on the lunar surface. the A18 tapes are
missiing for some reason.

Considering everything, the A17 is clearly the best.
