CHAPTER III: NASA'S EXPLORATION AND HISTORY SERIES CONTINUE

NASA's online history series "Why We Explore" will
continue, Friday, Oct. 29th on the NASA web portal.

NASA introduced the online essay series on Oct. 1. As NASA
prepares to journey to the moon, Mars and beyond, NASA Chief
Historian Steven J. Dick takes a look at humanity's
continuing desire to seek out new worlds.

Dick addresses in this third part of the series "Consequences
of Exploration: Learning from History."

"Why We Explore," that includes other news and multimedia
features about the Vision for Space Exploration, are
available on the Internet at:

A multimedia feature about NASA's history, produced in 2003
to honor the agency's 45th anniversary, is available on the
Internet at:
