I am in New York, will be going to a fairly dark spot.

Using a Meade ETX 90.

Besides the moon, can anyone suggest any particularly
interesting/pleasant sights that I will be able to see?

I will also be bringing someone who hasn't seen much so maybe some eye
candy (HA! in NY?) would be good for him.

Alberio in Cygnus. (blue and gold double)

V Aquilae (red)

Star clusters

Butterfly cluster and Ptolemy's cluster (M-6 and M-7)

Hercules cluster (M-13)

M-5 (globular cluster in Serpens)

Other objects

Lagoon nebula (M-8)

Swan (Omega, Checkmark, Horseshoe, Lobster) nebula (M-17)
